South Seas Knitting is my online store based in Auckland,
New Zealand. The community of knitters is where I feel
most at home, and I enjoy meeting fellow enthusiasts in
person, via email, through my blog, SlipSlipKnit or in the
knitting classes I teach in my studio.

I love authentic yarns, those made by artisans, and natural
tools such as bamboo and rosewood needles. Many of the
yarns I stock were those I came to know and love during
the years I ran my knitting shop Wildfiber, in California.
Before moving back home in 2007 I decided that I couldn't
be without these beautiful yarns and that New Zealand and
Australian knitters might appreciate them too.

Personalized attention is a priority for me, since I know
from experience that knitters usually have a lot of questions!
For this reason I am available by email, open by appointment
and for advertised shopping days so that knitters can come
see and feel all of the beautiful yarns.
